Brad Flickinger, SchoolTechnology.Org, was at TIES 2 years ago and shared how students were making music using only their iPads. They have since formed a school band called NEON. He shared a story of a girl who was very shy. They convinced her to try out for the band. Everyone was shocked that she had such a great voice as they were unaware she could sing. She has since come out of her shell. Here is their latest video!
Sometimes we may need to move a photo from Dropbox to the iPad. A teacher in my building needed to move some photo’s from her Dropbox to her iPad so she could create a video for her students. I decided to create a quick tutorial how to do so and share with you.
Select the photo you want to move to the iPad. In the picture below, I selected a photo.
Tap the 3 little circles near the top left. Select + Upload.
Select the folder you want to store the photo in Albums / Camera Roll.
Unfortunately, you may need to do one photo at a time. I have not found a way to move a folder or batch of photos over. If you find a way, please share! I hope this is of use to someone! Have a great day.
Many of us have used YouTube videos in the classroom. There are some good videos out there. Many times I have cringed at ads and images not appropriate in the classroom. Quietube.com takes them away! When you go to the website, drag the quietube button to your address bar above. When you pull up the video on Youtube, click on the quietube button on the address bar and all those images go bye bye. There will be an ad or two but they are appropriate retail ads. Easy and safe!
